Shortly after Audrey left us for Eternal Glory, her family was visited by someone who claimed he represented the Church and asked that Audrey's room be kept and preserved as it was during her life. The family has honored that request since. Audrey's room is a place of special holiness and many pilgrims feel the sanctity and the privilege of being able to be so close to that place that was where Audrey lived in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament 24 hours a day, for 7 days a week. In the photos you will see the carriage to the left of Audrey's bed that was used for walks up and down the street while she was still little to enjoy some fresh air and a change of scenery from her room. In many holiday photos, Audrey rests on this carriage in the living room or dining room the enjoy the company of her family and their friends beyond the walls of her room.
Currently, because of social distancing and restrictions for the COVID emergency, pilgrims are not allowed into the house. Use the video below to get an inside look that not even pilgrims get to see when they are there.
